Darryl

Darryl has wanted to work in the veterinary field since the age of 2! Her passion for the dynamic nature of medicine is what motivated her to pursue a certification in veterinary technology at Fairview College.

Having a huge passion for working with senior pets and internal medicine (especially diabetics), she enjoys working closely with owners and their pets to develop plans that work best for them. Darry particularly values nutrition advocacy as it ties in with everything else.

She loves that she gets to learn new things regularly and work with a multitude of species. She collaborates closely with WildNorth, specializing in wildlife of any kind and exotic animals. Darryl is ready to care for any feathered, furred, or scaled pets, earning her the affectionate nickname "the dedicated bird nerd of Grande Prairie" among coworkers!

Outside of work she enjoys volunteering with the community in a variety of positions, including organizing events and fundraisers.
